It is still the place where readers can learn the essentials, including the two equations of information theory, that are now named after Claude Shannon.. it briefly goes over the basics of the software and has two walk-through exercises and two exercises for you to do at your leisure. among different types of robots, between robots and AI, among different degrees of autonomy, etc.I think this book fills the bill admirably. The pictures are easy to see, very illustrative. Some of the illustrations are hard to see on smaller kindles. The paper became a book, with a 1949 first edition, which is now a classic, and which has been reprinted a number of times since, ending with the present lovely 1998 edition.
