Permission to make justifiable artistic decisions. bley is as brilliantly understated in words as he is in music, and anyone familiar with his music or the many musicians he has played with (or anyone at all into jazz) will find a lot of stories in this book -- candid, funny, and illuminating. Unfortunately, this book does NOT have a single photo of the Night Attack ("D" model) aft cockpit. Really helped me use iPhoto. Another excellent book by Cindy Berry. Carl Maggio brings to life his memories of that special baseball season and shares numerous stories about growing up in Los Angeles during what has been labeled by many as the, "Golden Years." A chapter in Carl's book, "Impure Thought Control," reminisces about his school days and his somewhat trying and humorous encounters with the teaching "nuns" at Transfiguration Catholic Grammar School. This is a great book with tastey and healthy recipes.. I did notice two things that made me a bit sad, first off all oolongs come from Taiwan. If you are looking for a book that clearly describes the evolution of mathematics, you don't need to try more, this book is for you.Struik's book, "A Concise History of Mathematics", is a well documented book with the main contributions,
