There are alot of diet books out there. It has multiple grammatical errors with words missing or the wrong tense. This book grabs your attention from page one and never let's go. The style is almost like an awkward translation done by someone who doesn't write in English fluently. By starting out slowly and only doing activities that we really enjoy, we can learn to be more active step by enjoyable step. The writings and speeches of Marcus Garvey is good reading. Then there's a short chapter each for the 17th, 18th, 19th and 20th centuries. Well written a good history lesson but 'plunder and high adventure' ; not so much. Good golly! How awesome! This was the original museum slumber party! I (re)read this book with my 13 year old and 11 year old twins - all boys - and we had a great time imagining what it would be like to: (1) not bathe except in a public water fountain; (2) pick up all the coins in said water fountain; and (3) eat junk food all the time. You won't be disappointed with any of them!Btw, if you read these books, like them and have suggestions of your own to share with me, feel free to leave them for me.
